Carlos Floresguerra

Carlos Floresguerra is an experienced executive in the renewable energy and corporate development sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Key Account Management at Brookfield Renewable since February 2022. Previously, Carlos held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Luminace and multiple Vice President positions at Brookfield Renewable and Brookfield Asset Management. Carlos has extensive experience in solar development and project finance, demonstrated through positions at GE Solar and Safari Energy, LLC, where significant contributions were made in project development and management. Notable early career experiences include roles as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State and positions as a financial analyst at Prince Minerals, Inc. and Constellation Energy. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs with a focus on Energy and Environment from New York University.
