Joe Guerra

Senior Director Of Business Strategies at Brookfield Residential

Joe Guerra has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joe currently serves as a Board Member for the Clarisse Machanguana Foundation. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Business Strategies at Brookfield Residential since 2015. In 2007, they founded Guerra Solutions, where they held the role of Owner. Joe also has experience in the education sector, having served as a Women's Varsity Basketball Assistant Coach at Archbishop Mitty High School. Joe worked in acquisitions and entitlements at SunCal from 2007 to 2015. Joe has also contributed to Golden Gate University as a Core Adjunct Professor from 2008 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they served as the Mayor's Budget and Policy Director for the City of San Jose. Joe also worked as the Chief of Staff for City councilman Frank Fiscalini from 1993 to 1998. Before that, Joe was the Editor and Publisher for the Willow Glen Resident Newspaper. Joe started their career as the Owner of Villa West and Associates.

Joe Guerra earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University in 2005-2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Psychology from Santa Clara University in 1980-1984. Earlier in their education, from 1976 to 1980, Joe attended Bellarmine College Preparatory, though the details of their degree and field of study during this time are unknown. In addition to their academic achievements, Joe Guerra also obtained a certification as a Real Estate Broker from the State of California in August 1984.
