Dmitri Medvedev

Dmitri Medvedev is the Head of Research and Development and a Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory since January 2006, specializing in isotope research and production. Key contributions include proposing high-energy experiments, designing targets for various radioisotopes, and conducting thorough chemical processing and analyses. Medvedev also maintained critical quality control for the GMP production of isotopes and developed operating procedures for compliant processes. Prior experience includes a visiting fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where semiconductor quantum dots and iron oxide nanoparticles were characterized, and a graduate research assistant role at Texas A&M University, focusing on inorganic ion-exchangers and their application in radioactive waste solutions. Medvedev holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.Sc. in Chemical Technology of Rare and Trace Elements from Mendeleyev University.
