Hu Enyuan

Hu Enyuan is a seasoned chemist with a robust background in battery materials research, currently serving at Brookhaven National Laboratory since July 2015. Significant contributions have been made to the Battery500 and Battery Material Research projects under the Vehicle Technologies Office of the Department of Energy, focusing on nickel-rich and lithium-rich cathodes, as well as lithium metal anodes. Achievements include publication selections for the VTO Annual Progress Report from 2015 to 2017 and active participation as a reviewer for prestigious journals. Prior roles include a research assistant at Stony Brook University and Brookhaven National Laboratory, contributing to the DOE’s Applied Battery Research for Transportation Program, and earlier research assistant experience at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Hu Enyuan holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University and advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering from both the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Southeast University.
