Paul Zschack

As the Photon Science Division Director at the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II), Paul Zschack is responsible for managing the operation and development of the facility’s comprehensive photon science portfolio. In this role, Paul advances the mission of the facility by leading scientific, technical, and professional staff to design, construct, and operate state-of-the-art capabilities for a wide range of research areas, such as materials science and life science.

Paul also serves as the NEXT-II Project Director to lead the development and construction of three new state-of-the-art beamlines at NSLS-II.
