Seher Karakuzu

Seher Karakuzu is a highly skilled professional in the field of physics and computational science, currently serving as a Scientific Software Developer and Computational Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory since February 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Quantum Software Engineer at Photonic Inc. from January 2023 to February 2024, and a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Flatiron Institute between September 2021 and February 2023. Seher also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from January 2019 to September 2021. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from SISSA, obtained between 2014 and 2018, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from Bilkent University, completed from 2012 to 2014.
