Chandler Thoresen

Chandler Thoresen is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in development and alumni relations. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Development at The Brookings Institution since July 2021, Thoresen focuses on donor engagement and gift solicitation to support key initiatives. Prior to this role, Thoresen held various positions at Yale School of Management, including Associate Director of Development and Assistant Director for Reunion and Leadership Giving, where significant contributions were made in cultivating domestic Leadership Giving prospects. Thoresen's career also includes experience at Yale University's Office of Major Gifts as Development Program Coordinator and Development Assistant, where skills in strategic communication and donor management were developed. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a visiting student experience at the University of Sussex.
