Elizabeth Mueller Gross

Elizabeth Mueller Gross has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Board Relations and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees at The Brookings Institution since 2017, Elizabeth provides critical support for the Board's governance activities. Previously, at the Pew Research Center from 2001 to 2017, Elizabeth held the position of Vice President, overseeing administration and operations while fostering a mission-driven culture. Earlier roles include Director of Research at U.S. News & World Report, where Elizabeth established key departments and diversified the editorial staff, and Editorial Production Manager for the US-China Business Council. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Kenyon College and a certificate from The George Washington University in Publication Specialist Program.
