Lauren Sharpe

Lauren Sharpe has a diverse work background, with experience in various roles and industries. Lauren started their career in 2001 as a Sales Associate at CB2, where they worked until 2003. In 2007, they joined Healthy Humor, Inc. as a Pediatric Hospital Clown and worked there until July 2021. Lauren also served as an Abortion Doula at THE DOULA PROJECT INC from April 2017 to March 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Artist at several organizations, including The New Victory Theater (since September 2010), New York City Ballet (since September 2018), Brooklyn Academy of Music (since September 2016), and Spellbound Theatre (since April 2014). In their most recent position, Lauren served as an Executive Assistant to the Co-Founder at Waterwell, starting in December 2020. Lauren is currently the Social Action Committee Co-Chair at the PTA of PS 261K, starting in September 2022.

Lauren Sharpe attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1998 to 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General.
