Joseph Soriero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joseph started their career as a Research Assistant at Naval History and Heritage Command in 2011. Joseph then interned as a Photography Intern at The Baltimore Sun in 2012. In 2013, they joined AECOM as a Junior Analyst and later became a Quality Control Manager.
Joseph Soriero's experience in the beer industry began in 2015 when they became an Export Marketing Coordinator at Brooklyn Brewery. Joseph then progressed to become an Export Manager, responsible for driving the export business and increasing international sales. In 2020, they took on the role of Regional Lead, Asia-Pacific, where they oversaw business and brand development across multiple markets, managed strategic distribution relationships, and implemented go-to-market strategies. Currently, they hold the position of International Director at Brooklyn Brewery, where they oversee international partners and projects, develops brand strategies, and manages distribution relationships to drive growth and strengthen brand equity.
Joseph Soriero attended Loyola University Maryland from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In 2012, they also participated in a study abroad program at Syracuse University in Florence, Italy. Additionally, Joseph has earned several certifications, including a Mini MBA in Brand Management from Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in November 2022, Product Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2022, Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in March 2022, Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level II from Hanban Confucius Institute in June 2021, Certified Cicerone from the Cicerone® Certification Program in January 2018, Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone Certification Program in March 2015, and Digital Analytics Fundamentals from Google in January 2015.
