Abigail Tirador

Abigail Tirador is currently a Legislative Policy Intern at the New Jersey Department of Corrections and a Politics & Government Graduate Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, both roles starting in early 2023. As a Clinical Social Work Intern at New Jersey ReEntry since August 2022, Abigail continues to build professional experience while pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Rutgers University. Previous internships include Intensive Case Management at the International Rescue Committee and a Student Intern position at Volunteer Lawyers for Justice. Abigail's early experience includes academic roles such as General Biology Laboratory Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Scranton. Education credentials include a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with minors in Biology and International/Global Studies from the University of Scranton. Additionally, Abigail has completed internships focused on wildlife rehabilitation, urban agriculture, and community engagement.
