Dane Fioravante

Dane Fioravante is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in criminal defense and public interest law. As a Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services since September 2017, Dane provides legal representation and consultation to clients, focusing on criminal prosecutions and traffic court proceedings. Prior roles include serving as a Post-Graduate Public Interest Fellow, where contributions were made to pro-bono legal services, and as a Legal Intern at The Legal Aid Society of NYC, conducting legal research and client interviews. Dane's early career also includes internships with the Port Authority and New York City Transit, where responsibilities involved legal research and administrative support. Dane holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. Francis College, complemented by a minor in Psychology and Sociology.
