Kiersten Reider

Kiersten Reider is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at Brooklyn Defender Services since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kiersten worked as a Temporary Staff Attorney at South Coastal Counties Legal Services, Inc., focusing on the Covid Eviction Legal Help Project. Previous experience includes a Legal Intern position at Whiteside Law, where legal research and memorandum drafting were key responsibilities, and a Fellowship at the Mashpee Wampanoag Legal Services Clinic, assisting low-income clients in various civil legal matters. Kiersten began a career in coaching and instruction at Southcoast Storm All-stars, teaching tumbling and cheerleading to children and adolescents. Kiersten holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from UMass Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from West Virginia University.
