Marshall Guiboa

Marshall Guiboa is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Brooklyn Defenders since September 2021, Marshall previously worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York from April 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, Marshall was an Associate at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP from September 2015 to February 2020. Early in the career, Marshall also contributed to education as an English Professor through the English Opens Doors program in Chile and served as an ESL Mentor for the International Rescue Committee, assisting a Burmese refugee family. Marshall's involvement in alumni relations included work as an Alumni Discovery Ambassador for the UCSD Alumni Association and serving as a Student Involvement Leadership Consultant at UC San Diego. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cornell Law School and a BA in Political Science from UC San Diego.
