Janelle Bennett serves as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Brooklyn Public Library, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Human Resources Director and Senior Human Resources Manager at The Brotherhood Sister Sol. Prior positions include Director of Talent Acquisition, HR Talent Acquisition & Compensation Manager, and Staff Analyst at the New York City Fire Department, as well as Recruitment Coordinator/Trainer for the NYC Human Resources Administration. Janelle began their career as a Talent Resources Coordinator at ANN INC (Ann Taylor | LOFT | Lou & Grey). Janelle holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Services and a Bachelor of Business Administration in HR, both from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
