Shirley Wong

Shirley Wong is an experienced adult services librarian at Brooklyn Public Library since September 2015, with a diverse professional background in research, advocacy, and library services. Prior roles include a freelance researcher and interpreter, news librarian for New York Daily News where extensive news research was conducted, and a sleep study coordinator at a private dental practice. Shirley has also worked as a family advocate for a non-profit organization, supporting families of children with special needs, and as a content analyst conducting research for financial institutions at Alacra. Shirley holds a Master’s degree in Library Science from Queens College.
