Jacob Andrus

Director of Auxiliary Programs at BROOKS SCHOOL

Jacob Andrus, Director of Auxiliary Programs, has been actively involved in education for several years in various capacities including elementary and middle school education, school leadership, curriculum development, STEM programing and higher education. Before coming to Brooks in 2016, Andrus lived in Virginia where he served as STEM Instructional Specialist for Newport News Public Schools creating a pipeline of STEM programming for elementary and middle school students. He was awarded a Programs that Work award by the Virginia Math and Science Coalition in 2016, for the development and implementation of the Elementary Engineering Design Challenge program. Additionally, Andrus has worked as an adjunct professor at Christopher Newport University in the College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. He received his M.A.Ed. from Regent University and his B.S. from Radford University.
