Julie Very, MPH has a diverse range of work experience in public health. Julie began their career as an Intern at the Children's Home of the Wyoming Conference in 2019, where they worked closely with staff to monitor and analyze data for various programs and conducted surveys. Julie then joined the Southern Tier AIDS Program, Inc. in 2021 as a Gaps In Care Facilitator, where they worked with the Health Homes Program staff to identify and close critical gaps in care, implemented preventative health care measures, and educated Care Managers about preventative healthcare measures and risks. Currently, they are serving as a NYSPHC Public Health Fellow at the Broome County Health Department, where they are responsible for updating data and resources, as well as analyzing the Community Health Survey for Broome County. Overall, Julie Very has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving public health and leveraging data for informed decision-making.

Julie Very, MPH, has a strong educational background in public health. Julie earned their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Binghamton University, where they studied Public Health from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General at SUNY Brockport from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their academic degrees, Julie has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Julie completed CPR & AED training at the Broome County Health Department in July 2022 and received Stop The Bleed Practical training from the same institution in June 2022. Julie also underwent Care Manager Training at HHUNY - Health Homes of Upstate New York in September 2021 and received Mental Health First Aid training from Care Compass Network in the same month and year. Julie obtained Introduction To Incident Command System, ICS-100 certification from FEMA in September 2019, and completed Social and Behavioral Researchers CITI Training from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in November 2018.

Additionally, Julie obtained First Aid certification from Children's Home of the Wyoming Conference in September 2019 and completed Public Health CITI training from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in August 2018. Julie also has an incomplete certification in Interprofessional Practice for Population Health from the University of Michigan, with no specified completion month or year.
