Marie Meagher has a background in special education and school psychology. Marie worked as the Director of Special Education at Broome-Tioga BOCES from July 2020 onwards. Prior to that, they held the same position at Cortland Enlarged City Schools from July 2018 to July 2020. Before their director roles, they worked as a School Psychologist at Union-Endicott High School from September 2011 to June 2018.
Marie Meagher's education history begins in 1991 when they enrolled at SUNY Brockport and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Health Sciences in 1995. Marie then pursued further education by attending the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1995 to 1996, where they received a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Continuing their academic journey, from 1996 to 1998, Marie Meagher attended The College of Saint Rose, where they earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. Most recently, they enrolled at Binghamton University in 2017 and completed a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2018.
