Alex Posada

Alex Posada has a diverse work experience in the fields of interaction design, technology, and music. Alex started their career in 1998 as the Technical Director at neuronoise. Alex then worked as a Freelancer from 2003 to 2009, specializing in multimedia production, electronics, and interaction design. In 2006, they joined Hangar.org as the Interaction Lab Coordinator, where they managed the Hangar Interaction Laboratory and conducted research on open-source technology for Electronic Art projects. In 2009, Alex founded MID Studio, an interaction design and technology studio that works with various clients such as museums, marketing agencies, architects, and musicians. Alex served as the CEO and Founder of MID Studio. In 2010, they also became a faculty member at IAAC until 2014. In 2014, Alex co-founded two Barcelona startups - Broomx Technologies and OvalSound. Broomx Technologies focuses on creating immersive experiences and disruptive products, while OvalSound developed a unique digital instrument called OVAL. Alex served as R+D Advisor & Co-founder at Broomx Technologies and as CEO/Co-founder at OvalSound until 2017.
