Abel Travis joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2023 as senior vice president of affiliate operations.
Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, Travis served four years on the executive leadership team at AF Group, most recently as the vice president and head of AF Group company, Fundamental Underwriters. He also served in leadership roles at The Hanover Insurance Group, Chubb, and Travelers.
Travis earned his MBA from Long Island University and Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University. Additionally, he hosts an InsurTech podcast. He serves as vice chair of Lansing Promise and serves on the Welcoming Ministry at Trinity Church, based in Lansing, MI.
