Karen Parker

Karen Parker currently serves as the Associate Vice President at Broward College, overseeing Curriculum Services and acting as the liaison with the Florida Department of Education. With a diverse background in academic leadership, Parker previously held positions as the District Director of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean, and Assistant Professor of English at Broward College, where responsibilities included managing faculty, coordinating curricula, and supporting workforce programs. Prior experience includes serving as Director/Principal at Holy Sacrament Christian Academy, achieving significant enrollment growth and maintaining accreditation. Parker’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Morgan State University and multiple master's degrees in English from the University of Rochester and Florida State University.
