Christopher Nelson

Christopher Nelson has been a teacher for fourth grade at Broward County Public Schools since July 2021, following a prior role as a Classroom Assistant in the Unique IDEA program from April 2018 to October 2020. Nelson has experience engaging with students from Pre-K to eighth grade as a substitute teacher, focusing on fostering creativity and implementing structured lesson plans. Before transitioning to education, Christopher held various roles in revenue management across several hotels, including The Copley Square Hotel and The Liberty Hotel, and worked as a flight attendant for JetBlue Airways, emphasizing customer service and team-building communication. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Florida International University between 2018 and 2020, and holds an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Briarwood College.
