Carl McDonald

Carl McDonald, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Broward Health, a position held since August 2022. Carl has extensive experience in healthcare human resources, having previously worked as a Senior Human Resources Director at Cleveland Clinic from March 2019 to August 2022 and as Chief Human Resources Officer at Broward Health from March 2004 to March 2019. In addition to these roles, Carl has held leadership positions with the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, including Immediate Past President and President. Carl's educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Defiance College, along with a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Florida Atlantic University.
