Jesiah Matthews

Jesiah Matthews is an Investment Analyst at BlackGen Capital, where engagement focuses on creating opportunities for minority students in the financial services sector, a position held since September 2022. Additionally, Jesiah serves as a Scholar at The Institute for Responsible Citizenship and is a Co-Founder of IVG Ghana, which promotes social entrepreneurship among young adults in Ghana. With a background that includes roles as a Career Prep Fellow with Management Leadership for Tomorrow and experiences as an Investment Management Analyst at Brown Advisory, Summer Analyst at Neuberger Berman, and participation in programs at Goldman Sachs and Blackstone Group, Jesiah has developed a robust skill set in investment and financial management. Jesiah co-founded UTrax, a mobile app aimed at tracking community service hours for students, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship at New York University, expected to graduate in December 2023.
