Donya Dennard

Donya Dennard has a diverse work experience in the field of technology education. Donya is currently serving as the Director of Technology Education at Brown & Brown Insurance since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Training Consultant at Vertafore from July 2015 to November 2018. Before Vertafore, they worked as an Instructional Designer/ Course Advocate at Victor 12, Inc. from January 2014 to July 2015. Donya also has experience as an Instructor and Curriculum Designer at Polk State College from June 2012 to June 2013, and as a Technology Coach/Trainer and Technology Teacher at Polk County School Board from August 2005 to June 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor and Curriculum Designer at the University of South Florida in Lakeland/ Gifted and Talented Summer Institute from July 2010 to August 2011.

Donya Dennard obtained a Masters's Degree in Educational Media Design & Technology from Full Sail University in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Warner University, graduating in 2005. In 1996, Donya attended Stetson University and studied Voice Performance, although no degree was specified. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including "How to Design and Deliver Training Programs," "New Manager Foundations," "Word 2016: Forms in Depth," "Excel: PivotTables for Beginners," and "The Neuroscience of Learning," all from LinkedIn in 2018.
