Erin Zimmet

Erin Zimmet has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Engineering Technical Support Specialist at Carolina Power & Light Company, where they managed safety programs and provided technical support. From 2004 to 2005, they served as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the US Environmental Protection Agency, assisting in the development of air regulatory programs. Erin then joined Sprague Operating Resources LLC in 2005 as a Compliance Manager, overseeing environmental and safety compliance at oil storage terminals. In 2008, Erin joined CRH, where they held various roles, including Director of Environmental Health and Safety and Environmental Manager. During their time at CRH, they implemented environmental programs, reduced injury rates, and developed a safety steering committee. In 2011, Erin became the Vice President of Human Resources at CRH's Preferred Materials, Inc. division, where they focused on strategic business partnerships, policy setting, and employee integration. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Recruitment at CRH Americas, where they led recruitment and engagement initiatives. Most recently, Erin worked as the Director of Team Resources at Brown & Brown Insurance, overseeing corporate teammate support.

Erin Zimmet holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Economics from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering (2004) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy (2001). In addition to their educational background, they possess various certifications including Start Your Talent Insights Journey Assessment and Excel with LinkedIn Recruiter Assessment from LinkedIn (2022), Real Colors Facilitator from Real Colors (2021), and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn (2020). Erin is also an E.I.T. Engineer In Training certified by the State of Maine.
