Steve Emmons

Steve Emmons possesses extensive experience in the information technology and insurance sectors, currently serving as the Head of IT Strategy and Architecture at Brown & Brown Insurance since April 2020. Prior to this role, Steve was the Senior Director of Corporate Technology at the same company and held several leadership positions at BB&T Insurance Holdings, including Director of Corporate Services. Steve's career at BB&T spanned nearly 14 years, encompassing various roles such as Enterprise Application Integration Architect and Team Lead in multiple development capacities. Earlier in the career path, Steve worked as Development Manager at Inspired Design and as a Senior Programmer at American Management Systems. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Clarkson University.
