Anthony Napoli

Anthony Napoli, MD MHL FACEP, currently serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brown Emergency Medicine while overseeing clinical operations across five Rhode Island Emergency Departments. As an At-Large Board Member at Brown Physicians, Inc. and President and Founder of Thrive Consulting LLC, Napoli leads a firm specializing in healthcare leadership and emergency department operations. With an extensive academic career, Napoli holds positions as Co-Director of the Emergency Medicine Healthcare Leadership and Administration Fellowship, Professor of Emergency Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University School of Public Health. Napoli's prior roles include Chair and Medical Director of the Newport Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine and Medical Director of Emergency Department Observation Services at Rhode Island Hospital. Napoli earned an Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership from Brown University School of Professional Studies and holds degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania.
