Scott Mattson

Scott Mattson is a seasoned investment banker with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Technology at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company since September 2023, Scott previously held the position of Managing Director in Technology Investment Banking at William Blair from February 2011 to September 2023. In that role, Scott led efforts in Supply Chain, IoT, and BI/Analytics, focusing on deal origination and execution for mergers and acquisitions as well as public and private financings. Prior experience includes serving as Principal in Technology Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity Inc., where responsibilities included leading M&A negotiations and financings in software and digital media sectors, and as Contract Manager at Naval Reactors, overseeing procurement and maintenance deals for nuclear submarines. Scott holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.
