Helena Shea

Helena Shea is currently a graduate student at MGH Institute of Health Professions, pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Helena has extensive experience in various healthcare roles, including serving as a Clinical Research Assistant at Rhode Island Hospital and previously working as an Emergency Department Ambassador at Duke Regional Hospital, where responsibilities included collaborating with nursing staff and enhancing patient experiences. Additional experience includes volunteering at a Neurology Clinic and Open Door Clinic, where patient triage and effective communication were crucial. Helena also held leadership positions, such as Vice President of Administration for Delta Delta Delta Sorority, and has hands-on emergency care training from time spent with Brown University's EMS Prehospital Education Program. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree from Elon University, completed in 2020.
