Laura Arango

Laura Arango is a dedicated medical student at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, expected to graduate with an MD in May 2026. Currently serving as a Research Student at Rhode Island Hospital, Laura is conducting immunological research in collaboration with the medical school. Previous experience includes working as a Research Associate at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, where Laura contributed to various research initiatives, and as a Biology Tutor at Providence College, providing support in laboratory techniques and cellular biology concepts. Additional roles include Molecular Biology Researcher and Laboratory Technician, where advanced scientific techniques were utilized. Laura's background also features experience as a Medical Scribe at Rhode Island Free Clinic and as a Mental Health Support Group Facilitator for NAMI, demonstrating a strong commitment to both medical research and community health.
