Maya Madhavan

Maya Madhavan currently serves as a Child Life Assistant at Hasbro Children's Hospital, providing support to pediatric patients and families coping with illness through play-based activities. In addition to this role, Maya works at Rhode Island Hospital's Ann C Pappas Breast Imaging Center as an assistant, where responsibilities include verifying patient information and addressing patient concerns. Previous experience includes serving as a camp counselor for pediatric cancer patients at The Tomorrow Fund, assisting young children in dance classes at Bronxville Ballet, and tutoring math to high school students. Maya has also completed an internship at Columbia University's Ultrasound Elasticity Imaging Laboratory, where data analysis and MATLAB coding were utilized for research. Maya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Immunology at Brown University, having a solid academic background from Bronxville High School and participation in New York University's GSTEM Summer Program.
