Sajeev Handa M.D.

Sajeev Handa MD, SFHM currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Medical Licensure & Discipline for the Rhode Island Department of Health since June 2022. Commencing in February 2015, Sajeev Handa has held the positions of Chief of Hospital Medicine and Medical Director of Clinical Integration at Brown University Health. Additionally, Sajeev Handa has been Director of the Division of Hospital Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital since July 1996 and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Neurology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Previous roles include Fellow at Brown University from July 1994 to June 1996 and Internal Medicine Resident at Tufts University School of Medicine from July 1991 to June 1994. Sajeev Handa earned an MB BCh BAO (Hons) LRCSI LRCPI degree in Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland from 1985 to 1991, and attended UWC South East Asia from 1977 to 1984.
