Selim Suner M.D.

Selim Suner MD, MS, FACEP is a distinguished academic and medical professional serving as a Professor of Emergency Medicine, Surgery, and Engineering at Brown University since July 2006, where responsibilities include teaching and conducting research on topics such as medical technologies and disaster medicine. Selim also holds a position as Senior Strategy Advisor at Acute Care International, LLC, focusing on the development of emergency care curricula and disaster preparedness programs. As Team Leader for the Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team and Chairman of the Emergency Preparedness Committee at Rhode Island Hospital, Selim plays a crucial role in enhancing emergency response capabilities. Additionally, Selim has been a board member of Winning Medicine International since June 1998 and has served as Director of Disaster Medicine at UEMF since July 1996.
