Richard Thomassie is a highly experienced Project Health Safety Environment Manager with a strong background in overseeing safety protocols in large-scale construction projects. Currently serving at Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC, Richard is involved in the construction of the Venture Global LNG plant in Louisiana, managing a workforce of over 8,000 employees. Previous roles include leading safety initiatives for projects such as the Chevron Renewable Energy Group's Bio-Diesel Production Facility and the Microsoft Data Center project at EPI Power. Richard has also held significant safety management positions at EXCEL USA and Brown & Root, where responsibilities included overseeing multi-million dollar expansions and managing contractor safety. Richard's career began in law enforcement with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, providing a unique foundation in safety and security management.
