Alycia Mosley Austin

Alycia Mosley Austin is an experienced academic leader in neuroscience and diversity initiatives, currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion at Brown University since September 2021. Prior to this role, Alycia held multiple positions at the University of Rhode Island, including Interim Associate Dean of the Graduate School, Associate Director of the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program, and Assistant Dean for Graduate Recruitment and Diversity Initiatives, where responsibilities included advising on curriculum development, managing admissions processes, and promoting diversity in graduate education. Earlier in her career, Alycia contributed to the field as an Executive Coordinator and Director of Graduate Recruitment at UC San Diego and gained research experience as a technician and undergraduate assistant at prestigious institutions. Alycia holds a PhD in Neuroscience from UC San Diego and a ScB in Neuroscience from Brown University.
