Bill Allen

Bill Allen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and community service. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow and Adjunct Lecturer at Brown University's Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs since January 2006, Bill Allen also holds the position of Bank Corporator at Walden Mutual. Bill Allen was a Founding Faculty member for the Rhode Island Cohort at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and has held various teaching roles at Providence College and Boston College School of Social Work. Prior leadership roles include Executive VP of Community Services and Interim President at United Way of Rhode Island, along with directorial positions in several United Way organizations and community development agencies. Bill Allen holds a Master's in Social Planning and Community Organizing from Boston College and a Bachelor's in Philosophy from Saint John's Seminary.
