Holly Gaboriault

Holly Gaboriault serves as a Critic and Professor in the Illustration Department at Rhode Island School of Design since August 2024, with past experience as an Assistant Professor and RISD Faculty Fellow. Concurrently, Holly is a Storytelling Producer and Filmmaker at Brown University, focusing on media production for the Brown Arts Initiative, and also lectures on design history. An accomplished film director, editor, and producer since 2005, Holly has led various documentary projects within arts communities. As a narrative strategist and independent curator, Holly collaborates with cultural institutions to develop narratives and curate exhibitions. Holly holds an MA in Global Arts and Cultures and a BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design.
