Joel Revill

Joel Revill has extensive experience in academic administration, currently serving as Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs and Senior Associate Dean of the Faculty at Brown University since January 2011. Revill's role involves overseeing faculty recruitment and governance, implementing faculty policies, and managing curricular planning. Prior positions include Associate Provost for Special Projects and Associate Dean of the Faculty at Brown University, and earlier roles at Williams College, Reed College, and North Carolina State University. Revill holds a Ph.D. in History from Duke University, a B.A. in Political Science from Reed College, and has participated in higher education management training at Harvard and an Executive MBA program at IE Business School in conjunction with Brown University.
