Marc Doughty

Marc Doughty is a highly experienced information security and IT professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Lead Information Security Engineer at Brown University since January 2008, Marc has held roles including Information Security Engineer and Senior Endpoint Engineer, focusing on software packaging, operating system deployment, and providing top-tier support for IT professionals. Key accomplishments include the implementation of a cross-platform PXE boot system using iPXE. Previously, Marc worked at Milton Academy as a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, where significant reductions in software images were achieved through scripting, and at Unicom as a Macintosh and PC Specialist, leading hardware rollouts and software imaging efforts. Marc completed middle and high school education at Providence Country Day School and high school education in computer networking at the Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center.
