Paul Larson

Paul Larson serves as the Medical Director for Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care, overseeing 23 practices and 180+ clinicians, while also directing Population Health & Utilization Management for over 180,000 patients. In addition to this role, Paul holds a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Brown University. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Primary Care at Lifespan Physician Group, where Paul implemented value-based care initiatives across multiple practices, and as Chief Primary Care at Coastal Medical, contributing to the integration of practices and optimization of electronic health record systems. Paul has an extensive academic background, including significant teaching roles at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where numerous teaching awards were received. Paul holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and an MD from UMass Chan Medical School, complemented by international consulting experience in healthcare development and faculty education.
