Rachel Franklin currently serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Geographic Analysis at Harvard University, a position held since March 2025. Concurrently, Rachel is a Visiting Scholar and Associate Professor (Research) in Population Studies at Brown University, where Rachel has taught geographical analysis and GIS, and conducted research on population change and migration since September 2010. Previous roles include Group Leader for Liveability at The Alan Turing Institute and Professor of Geographical Analysis at Newcastle University.
