Jon Hrobsky has extensive experience in the field of policy and government affairs, primarily focused on energy, environment, and resource strategies. Jon started their career as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Legislative Assistant for Congressman Scott McInnis from 1997 until 2001. Jon then served as the Legislative Director for Congressman Bob Schaffer in 2001. Jon joined the U.S. Department of the Interior in 2002 as the Deputy Director and Congressional Liaison for the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs. During their time there, they played a crucial role in formulating key provisions of significant acts related to energy and mining. In 2007, they became the Deputy Director of Policy and Planning for the U.S. Minerals Management Service, where they led efforts in enabling the service to achieve various milestones and served as the principal liaison with the White House for decisions involving oil and gas development. From 2009 to 2011, Jon worked as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the National Ocean Industries Association. Jon is currently the Policy Director and co-chairman of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Energy, Environment & Resource Strategies (EERS) Group, where they lead a bipartisan team of lawyers and policy professionals to deliver successful outcomes for clients in matters related to energy, the environment, and natural resources.
