Jeff Szeto CPA, CMA, MBA

Jeff Szeto is a CPA, CMA, and MBA with a diverse work experience. Jeff currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Avana Capital Corporation, where they lead all operational finance activities and implements changes to accounting and payroll functions, internal controls, and policies. Jeff is also the Venture Capital and Private Equity Lead at Alder Capital Sustainable Ventures, where they are responsible for full-cycle deal execution, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and post-deal support. Additionally, they have held advisory and board member roles at Common Wealth Retirement, Broya, Fintech Cadence, MASSAGO, Maytree, and Canada Learning Code. Jeff has also served as a Director on the Board of Taddlecreek Family Health Team and as an Advisor at Paddle HR.

Jeff Szeto CPA, CMA, MBA has a diverse educational background. Jeff completed their Certified Management Accountant certification at the CMA Institute from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their MBA degree in Finance at the Ivey Business School at Western University, graduating in 2004. Jeff also holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College. Jeff completed their secondary education at Upper Canada College.
