Jhilik Bose

Jhilik Bose is an experienced engineering professional pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Previous roles include Hardware Team Member at the University of Waterloo Nanorobotics Group, where microfluidic bio-sensor chips for hydroponics systems were designed and prototyped. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, contributions included the design of a human knee prototype and data analysis for exoskeleton research. Experience as a Mechanical Sub Team Member at UW Orbital involved CAD modeling and FEA simulations for CubeSat parts. As a System Integration Engineering Intern at BRP, responsibilities included developing testing plans and designing test fixtures. Additionally, as an Engineering Analyst at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, operational efficiencies were improved through the implementation of software solutions and custom designs. Prior to these, payment was received as a WATiMake Assistant, overseeing rapid prototyping operations and providing technical support. Future plans include interning at Tesla in Cell Mechanical Design Engineering.
