Arin Gharakhanian, P.Eng., M.Eng., B.Sc. is an accomplished professional in the nuclear power industry with extensive experience at Bruce Power since September 2011, where the role as Shift Manager resulted in significant achievements such as attaining zero consequential Work Protection and Plant Status Control events and leading the crew to meet all deliverables and metrics in 2020. Previously, Arin served as Shift Advisor Technical in the Bruce B Operations Department, managing outage operations and directing emergency response activities. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Technical Engineer at Ontario Power Generation, where contributions to the Darlington Simulator Software Section involved pioneering work in simulating hydraulic systems and enhancing training functionalities. Arin holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with specialized training from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
