John Peevers

John Peevers is a seasoned communications professional with over two decades of experience at Bruce Power, where John currently serves as the Director of Community, Media Relations & Economic Development. In this role, John effectively shares the Bruce Power narrative and collaborates with the community to support Ontario's Clean Energy Frontier. Formerly, John held various positions within the company, including Director of Corporate Communications and Manager of Communications and Media Relations, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communications, media relations, and brand development. John's career began in journalism, with editorial roles at Owen Sound Sun Times and Beacon Times, where John honed skills in news reporting, editorial direction, and team management. John holds a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
