Robert Richard

Robert Richard is a seasoned Nuclear Engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving at Bruce Power since May 2016 in various roles including Duty Outage Manager and Predictive Maintenance Section Manager. Robert's responsibilities encompass the implementation of Predictive Maintenance Technologies for four-unit nuclear stations, overseeing the planning and execution of nuclear unit outages, and ensuring comprehensive training and qualification of departmental personnel. Prior to Bruce Power, Robert worked at Ontario Power Generation and AECL, where responsibilities included managing outage deployments, leading outage improvement initiatives, and conducting life assessments for nuclear systems. Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
