Todd Warnell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Todd started their career at George Weston Limited as an Analyst in Financial Reporting & Development. Later, they joined Loblaw Companies Limited, where they held several senior positions, including Senior Director of Business Information Competency Centre and Senior Director of Financial Systems & Process Development. In 2015, Warnell founded TDPW Consulting and served as its President until 2018. Todd also worked as a Founding Partner & Director at Traksuit Inc. from 2017 to 2020. Warnell has expertise in cybersecurity and threat intelligence, as reflected in their role as an Advisory Board Member at the University of Guelph's Master of Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence program. Currently, they are the Chief Information Officer at Bruce Power and previously served as the Chief Information Security Officer.
Todd Warnell has a background in commerce, business management, and project management. Todd attended McMaster University, where they studied Commerce. Todd also pursued studies in Business Management at Athabasca University. Additionally, they completed courses in Project Management Essentials and Comprehensive Project Management at the University of Toronto. Furthermore, they participated in the NextGen CIO Academy program offered by Deloitte. Todd has also obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Security Immersion Completion Badge from Microsoft, the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., the ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert, and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute.
